Shantymen logo developed!

The Shantymen’s unanimously agreed to a logo designed by Günzel+Herman Design - Bridgewater providing professional marketing, design, and photography services. The logo shows the name of the group (“The Shantymen”) against the background of a compass rose. The designer selected a font that is based on inscriptions on Sir Francis Drake’s Crest; the compass rose is tilted to reflect Nova Scotia’s slight NE to SW orientation.

The logo will be used on the group’s website and social media. Some rumours have it that there will also soon be merchandise such as T-Shirts and grog mugs!
